Cookie Policy

This document explains what cookies and other tracking tools are, which ones this site uses, for what purposes, and how you can manage your preferences at any time.

1. What cookies and tracking tools are

"Tracking tools" means any technology — e.g. cookies, unique identifiers, web beacons, embedded scripts, e-tags and fingerprinting — that enables tracking of users, for example by collecting or storing information on the device.

Cookies in particular are small pieces of data the site asks the browser to store on your device and send back on later visits. They are classified as:

• Session cookies — deleted automatically when the browser closes;
• Persistent cookies — stored until their expiry date or manual deletion;
• First-party cookies — set directly by this site;
• Third-party cookies — set by external services embedded in the site (e.g. Google).

By purpose, cookies are either technical (required for the site to work, no consent needed) or measurement/profiling cookies (set only with your prior consent).

2. How consent works on this site

On your first visit a banner appears: no tracking cookie is set before you make a choice. You can accept, reject or customize per category. Your choice is stored for 12 months in the technical cookie fp_consent together with date and policy version, and recorded anonymously as proof of consent. You can change or withdraw it at any time via the "Cookie preferences" link in the footer of every page. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of prior processing.

3. Technical cookies — always active

Required for the site to work. No consent needed.

4. Measurement cookies ("Analytics") — consent only

Used to understand, in aggregate form, how the site is used: which pages are visited, where visitors come from, on what device. Services used:

Google Analytics 4 — Google Ireland Ltd.

Usage statistics with truncated IP address. Without your consent the service runs cookieless and sends only anonymous technical signals (Consent Mode v2). Data may be transferred to the USA under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework — Google privacy policy.

5. Marketing cookies — consent only

Google Ads conversion tracking (Google Ireland Ltd.): measures whether a visit comes from one of our ad campaigns and whether it leads to a contact. No advertising is shown on this site.

6. Managing your preferences

You have several tools:

• Site banner — "Cookie preferences" link in the footer: see the current state of each category and change it in one click;
• Browser settings — you can block or delete cookies: Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge, Opera, Brave. Browser settings do not, however, allow granular per-category control;
• Third-party opt-outs — Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on and YourOnlineChoices for behavioural advertising.

8. Key definitions

• Personal data — any information that identifies or makes identifiable a natural person;
• Usage data — information collected automatically by the site (e.g. pages visited, time, device);
• Data subject — the natural person the personal data refers to, i.e. you;
• Controller — who determines the purposes and means of processing;
• Processor — who processes data on the Controller's behalf (e.g. technical suppliers).
