Frequently asked questions
The questions I get most often, answered straight.
Fixed-price for defined scope, or time & material for ongoing work. I send a clear quote after the discovery call — no surprises.
A ready-made (subscription) tool is great when your processes fit the standard: cheap and instant. Custom wins when the way you work is your competitive edge, when no package really covers your flow, or when you're paying growing fees for features you don't use. On the call we figure out honestly which one fits — sometimes I'll point you to the off-the-shelf option myself.
Often yes, over the medium term. A subscription looks cheap, but multiplied by users and years it adds up: a few euros per user per month, across many users, over five years can exceed a custom system — which stays yours forever, with no fee that keeps rising. The calculator lets you compare on your actual case.
It depends on scope. A first useful module can ship to production in a few weeks; a full management system takes longer. I work iteratively with regular checkpoints, so you see progress along the way instead of waiting months in the dark.
Yes, completely. The Git repository is registered to your company, the app runs on your infrastructure (cloud or in-house — your choice), and your data stays yours and exportable at any time. No lock-in: if you ever want to switch developer, you take the code and data and go.
Yes, and often there's no need to throw away what you have. I can connect via API to your systems — e-invoicing (SDI), e-commerce, ERP, cloud invoicing — and build only the missing piece. I step in where off-the-shelf software stops, without making you start over.
Not a generic chatbot. It's AI built into your management software: an assistant that searches and answers over your business data, automates documents and emails, classifies orders or tickets, summarises reports. It always starts from a concrete case where it saves you real time — not from hype.
Excel is great until it becomes the bottleneck: files that break, duplicate versions, manual errors, no control over permissions. The signal is when you spend more time managing the sheets than doing the work. That's when a system built around your real processes pays back fast.
Yes — it's the approach I recommend. We start with the module that hurts most today, ship it to production, and grow the system when you actually need to. No huge all-at-once investment in the dark.
I'm based in Sardinia but work 100% remotely with SMEs across Italy (and European clients). Direct communication, SDI invoicing, calls when needed. Distance isn't the issue — clarity is, and on that I don't compromise.
Laravel, Vue and Filament: mature, widespread, maintainable technologies. For you that means one concrete thing: you're not held hostage by a rare language or a single developer. Tomorrow any Laravel team can pick up the code. I choose tools that protect your investment, not my preferences.
Yes. I can stay on after launch for updates, fixes, and technical support — up to a true ongoing technical-partner role if you need it.
